This is a great wake up breakfast smoothie pre-run or gym session. Hydration and vitamins come from the melon, while the super antioxidants come from the beetroot and pepper. The calcium, vitamin C and K come from the spring greens. The added protein and complex carbs make this a perfect kick start to the day. If you prefer a lighter breakfast then this is great even after a workout! Add a full scoop of protein if needed.
Ingredients:
1x Banana
1/2 Red pepper
1/4 Galia
1/4 Cantaloupe
1x Beetroot
50g Spring Greens
1/2 Scoop Vegan protein
20g Oats
2x tsps Super green
100ml Water
Method: Add the protein, oats and super green powder. Then add chopped banana, pepper, melon, beetroot and water. Top with the super greens and blitz in the blender on high or pulse setting until completely smooth.
