The protein, complex carbohydrates, quick release sugar from the
banana and omega from the chia make this a great post-workout recovery to fuel
and repair the muscles. The sodium from the spinach will help to replace lost
salts.
Spinach is low in saturated fat, and very low in
cholesterol. It is also a good source of niacin and zinc, and a very good
source of dietary fibre, protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K,
thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus,
potassium, copper and manganese. So that’s where Popeye got his
strength from!
INGREDIENTS
1x Banana
1x Banana
1x Beetroot
1x scoop Vegan protein mix
30g Oats
1/2 Yellow pepper
40g Spinach

METHOD: Add the oats, protein, super greens, chia
seeds and water to a blender. Squeeze in the lime juice, throw in the banana,
beetroot, blueberries, pepper then top with spinach. If you need to add more
sweetness then use part pressed apple with the water. I prefer this just
slightly sweet and veggie as it is.
Hope you enjoy!
